Prior to your appointment

• If you have Covid19 symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone in the last 48 hours who has symptoms, please call to rearrange your appointment.
• Please do not arrive at the clinic before your appointment time. If you arrive early please wait in your car or outside the clinic until your appointment time. There will be no waiting room facilities available inside the clinic.
• Under 16’s need a parent or legal guardian to accompany them.
• Acupuncture can lower blood sugar levels temporarily, so please have a light snack before attending your appointment.
• Payments are taken by cash or debit/credit card.
• Let your practitioner know about upcoming Covid19 vaccinations so we can choose the best time for your acupuncture appointment.

At your appointment

• You will be asked to wash or disinfect your hands upon entering clinic.
• Face masks are no longer compulsory, but we do review this regularly. You are welcome to wear a mask and if you don’t have one, we can provide you with a single-use disposable mask.
• Your acupuncturist will be wearing PPE.

After your appointment

• Most people feel relaxed following appointment but it is possible to feel tired too. This might be a sign that your body is fatigued so do rest, keep hydrated but avoid caffeine and other stimulants.
• If you develop Covid-19 symptoms or have a confirmed diagnosis within 48 hours of your acupuncture treatment please inform your acupuncturist as soon as possible by emailing info@dynamicequilibrium.org.uk or calling 07853 663979
